[Mishmash] On my way to the hospital

Hey Fred,
Hope all went well. I had my second arthroscopic knee surgery back in
January. I healed fast the first time (8 years ago) and even faster this
time around. Within one week I was back to bending my knee. Both times I
had work done on the meniscus. I've torn it now 5 times total. The latest
doctor thinks it's bad luck -- I call it bad genes. I've had knee problems
since I was 12 years old. You'll probably recover quickly since you have a
good muscle base to work with from your karate workouts.
Good luck!
Ingrid
