We'll be leaving shortly to visit with some of Ann's younger local relatives 
in a few minutes.  All of a sudden Ann has become very interested in her 
family connections and a bunch of people are collecting information, photos, 
etc. to prepare for a big gathering on the 15th.

I'm wrapping up my eBay quest for wire recorders and associated stuff.  I 
just submitted my last bid for a Sams Photofact for one of the Webster 
models.  I now have one sick recorder that has an excess B+ current draw, 
two in unknown condition and another unknown one coming in soon.  I have 
several blank and recorded spools of wire, a copy of a factory service 
manual for one model mechanism (all are similar), a couple of power cords, 
one dead mic, another unknown mic and a copy of an owner's manual for one 
model. These are enough for a few rainy days' work.

This eBay stuff is crazy because I paid less for complete intact units than 
individual pieces such as microphones, manuals and sets of spools of wire.

I've discovered that sending a USPS money order Priority Mail with tracking 
gets the sellers paid much faster than PayPal.
