Carole,

I'm glad it's not all that painful.

But if Robyne wants to hear about pain, I went to the emergency room
with a kidney stone week before last. Now that was very painful.

The only person I would wish that on is Osama bin Laden.

     Regards,

                                       fred

actually it isn't all that painful. i feel in a little hole ay my daughter
s yard the night of the fourth while we were watching the fireworks. messed
up my whole right side - wrist, elbow, ankle, foot and knee. guess i hurt
my elbow the worst but since it was in a cast for a couple weeks it doesn't
hurt anymore. my foot sure does tho - but it's more of a nuisance than
anything. i'm just getting waaaaay to old to fall down. how are your
grands doing? been a little hotter than i like it around here - but it's
sure better than SNOW!

been hot here too but the last couple days have been good. i dislocated my
right elbow on the 4th so haven't been able to take advantage og the nice
days to golf. another week the dr. said. i used to live in mpls and it
gets very hot there -- only time it's cooler than elsewhere is in the winter
that's why i was more than ready to leave it. great film of the turtle.
they didn't have that aquarium there when i visited the mall years ago. i
would have loved to see that.

Robyne,

There has been a lot of hot weather here.

I was hoping that I would get some colder weather while I was here.
It's been cooler back in the mountains of NC. I guess our 2800 feet above
sea level makes a difference. But I wiil be glad to get back home.

I went to the Mall of America on Friday evening. They have an
aquarium that you can walk under (a tunnel). You can see all the many
sharks swimming around. I took a bunch of short videos with my digital
camera. Whenever I get time, I'll need to use Movie Maker and create a
longer video with them.

There was a beautiful red sea turtle swimming over top of us. I was
running a video when some inconsiderate man raised his hand and put it in
front of the sea turtle (argh). I'll try to attach it to this message. The
light wasn't great down there. But I hope you enjoy it.
