You final comment sums up my thoughts, Fred. I simply don't understand. We
have Western pollies creating fear and dissent, we have middle Eastern
leaders doing similarly. I am convinced that the average person any where
in the world wants to enjoy their life without all this.

I would express my opinion through the ballot box if I could but, in Oz at
least, all the pollies are a variation on the same theme. Where is the "I
want to be nice" party?

Cheers

     So do the hate groups.

Morris Dees (whom I've mentioned before) once observed the first black
student on a campus in Alabama. The white students threw rocks at her.

He was the head of the 'young marrieds' group at his church. That
Sunday, he did a sermon entitled, 'How can we say we are Christians when we
hate our brothers?'.

That afternoon, he was asked to step down as the head of the young
marrieds group at his church.

As I said, not everyone who says he or she is a Christian really is a
Christian.

I've seen churches with the Dixie flag across the front of them. We
all know what that means.

Take a look at 'http://www.klanwatch.org'. It is a site that is run by
Morris Dees' law firm that tracks hate activity in the United States. Check
and see if your community has any of these hate groups. You might be
surprised (and shocked). Click on 'Hate Groups Map' and then click on your
state.

How can people live in a world like this and hold to practices like
that? I don't understand it.

     Regards,

                                                     Fred Atkinson
