Yep...you were visiting right in my backyard.  We lived in Sunderland which is about 10 minutes from Amherst.  We usually drove through parts of S. Hadley to get to Northampton, one of my favorite little towns.  Sylvesters has the best Banana Bread French Toast.  If you're ever in the area again, I highly recommend it.

If you're ever in need of golf balls, let me know.  We manage to find many of them in our present backyard. :-)

Good to see you back on the board, Gale without your thingy.  Gee...I hope it wasn't too traumatic for you when you put it away.

  Ingrid!!!  A familiar face right off the bat!!  So good of you to write.  :)
  The Thingy????  Afraid I had to put it away for good.   But with fond memories.  :)

   I can't tell you how often I have thought of you as I sit on our back patio watching over the 17th fairway of Turf Valley Golf Course.  Yes...we moved from Massachusetts to Ellicott City, Maryland and found a house that looks over both sides of the golf course.  It's definitely a different breed who goes out there during certain times of the year.

  If memory serves you lived in the Springfield area of Massachusetts right?  I knew my older half sister once lived in Westfield.  Her son still lives near there in South Hadley.  I went up there 3 years ago for a weekend wondered if you still lived in the neighborhood.  And now you live in a house surrounded by a golf course?  Heaven Ingrid!!  Pure heaven!!  ;)
