My daughter's bried marriage was probably the worst 6 months  of my life . . 
. watching Kevin die, and Alex (who is a microbiologist and so  knew too much) 
try to work to save him.
Kevin's slide started on their honeymoon
 
There simply can't be anything worse than  watching someone so close slip 
away.  And then so soon after starting a  life together.  My deepest sympathy to 
Alex and to you and your  entire family Hugh.
