I think that is a good question Susan.  Here is a web page that is

though to see how bias he is, and I haven't read all them yet.

IMO I don't think the flag should be burned except to retire it.  To me 
that's similar to treason burning your country flag in protest (though not 
as serious), and I know that's a little harsh, but simply because you don't 
agree with your leadership, you don't burn the ship. :)
