I'll try to make the as understandable as I can. It was a touching story
from my area here. I live 10 miles east of Flint, Michigan. Fenton, Michigan
is 15 miles south of Flint. Port Huron, Michigan is about 70 miles east of
Flint on the Canadian border.

Last Friday a tornado went through Fenton, Michigan. Lots of damage and as
far as I know, no one was killed thank god. A man in Port Huron, Michigan
heard of the damage done and jumped in his pickup with a chain saw and some
tools and drove the some 85 miles to Fenton to help however he could. He came
across some people in Fenton with a large tree blown down across their fence
and against their house. He pulled his truck over and pulled out his chain
saw and started helping out. They couldn't believe this was happening. They
asked him his name and he wouldn't tell them. Except to say his name was
"Free" cuz that's what he was.

A while later they were still cleaning up and looked over and "Free" was on
one knee trying to stand up and couldn't. He suddenly fell over right there
in their yard. And died!! Of a heart attack. Helping people he didn't
know. People who didn't even live close to him. People who simply needed a
helping hand.

It wasn't until Sunday that they found out "Free's" name. I wish I'd have
written it down from the TV report so I could tell you his name. Needless to
say he's a hero to a family he didn't know in Fenton, Michigan. And his
wife and 2 sons said he did these acts of kindness any time he had the chance.
He died doing what he loved to do.
