I don't support anyone who doesn't support the US overseas. I go along with our internal arguments and differences, but "out there" we had better be united.

Don't just write to GE about the ad . . . put a process in place. EVERY time you buy a non-GE product which could have been from them, send a note . . . "Just bought a blah blah toaster instead of yours because you didn't support our country when you refused to run paid-for ads thanking our soldiers" . . . and cc at least ten people asking them to send it on to ten.

A lot of times we get upset, and it dies off. We need to stay upset. Like in we should all watch the television broadcast feed from 8:45AM to 11AM EST on 9/11/01 once a week.

        the strange thing about this is that every other network including CNN aired this ad and it is a paid ad - not a public service message.  i wonder how many other ads NBC says they won't air?  from what I see every night from viagra to tv porn shows (on dish channels but the networks air them) i would say very little is censored out - except the military and national pride.  i sent my nasty email to GE.

              NBC finally relented on their decision not to air the videos shown on
        this page.  They apparently considered them 'too controversial', which is
        something I cannot fathom.  I don't think you'll understand either once you
        see these videos.

              I think that public pressure shouldn't have been required for NBC to
        have aired this ad.   How about you?

              I sent NBC News a very nasty email about it.  I guess that they got a
