I can sympathize with that - flying terrifies me - I hate heights and I hate closed in spaces. I've tried everything from gravol to gin before boarding and nothing works - all that stuff (that puts me to sleep when I'm sitting on my sofa) perks me right up when we're airborne so I can listen to every creak and goan - possible signs we may be shortly missing a wing, don't you know. I love Greyhound and amtrack. As another non-flying friend once said, "if the bus develops engine trouble, you're already on the ground"!

I'm going to England next year - haven't been in almost 30 years - already checked it out - the QEII has regular sailings and if she's booked, there are always frieghters! I don't know if she passes through Iceberg Alley or not but I'm willing to risk it!
