playing in that game  too.  I have my bears wallpaper on my puter and the bears 
screen  saver - wearing my bears sweatshirt starting tomorrow.  i haven't  made my 
cheese ball yet - that is for tomorrow to do and also my chili  (yep - it 
should be Chicago brats or dogs but it's wind chilling at -17  around here and i 
don't even want to fire up the grill and  tailgate).  now, i must admit that 
MOST years i watch the game for  the commercials (which were a real 
disappointment last year) - but THIS  year i'm wearing my cheerleader outfit (no, you 
really wouldn't want to  see that - i'm 65 now remember) and will watch the game 
for a  change. 
 
I do apologize  Carole.  I'm so envious of anyone who really does have a team 
in  the game.  We've suffered here so much for so long.  I've  spent the 
evening watching ESPN Classic and Super Bowl Highlights and  imaging how it would 
feel.  We've had quite the past few years  sports wise here in Michigan.  The 
Ryder Cup.  Baseball's All  Star Game.  Super Bowl XL a year ago.  The PGA 
Championship in  2008.  The Tiger's unlikely run to the World Series last  fall.  
The Pistons have won a world championship along with the Red  Wings in the 
past few years.   And then there's the  Lions.  I must love abuse.  But I'm 
right there every Sunday  thinking this is the game we turn the corner.   (sigh)
