We had cows as well when I was young and we loved to make the cows
move from their spot when they were sitting in the grass so we could
lay in the warm flat grass they vacated. They would sometimes leave a
cow pie. As you say we made our own fun and they really were fun
times. Some of the cows would let you cuddle up next to them
especially if we had raised them. Nothing like listening to a cows
stomach.
