[Mishmash] Greetings

Hugh,

I reached that decision decades ago.

Many of my professors said that they prefered teaching adults to teaching children.

I remember one of them saying that she could do more with a bunch of adults in two classroom sessions than they could do with children in an entire semester.

    Regards,

                                                                Fred Atkinson

  Fred:

  Good luck.

I came to the conclusion years ago night students were far easier and more rewarding to teach . . . if for nothing else than they really wanted to be there in the first place!

    Well, folks,

I spent last week in Madison, FL at a training seminar. I completed two certifications that needed to get for my new position at Clayton State University.

I didn't think I'd want to teach again. But my department only teaches night classes. So that means 'adults'. I've been teaching there part time for the month of July and so far it is working well.

I start as a full time faculty member tomorrow (August 1).

So, here's where we are at.

        Regards to all,

                                                                                Fred
