Seems like a scandalous waste to provide a convenience to a small minority 
but the Muslim student organization did offer to cover the expenses which 
was refused by the school bureauacrcy.  I suspect that the school was just 
trying to avoid a safety-related lawsuit rather than face a religious issue.
