Thanks Robyne.  We are pretty happy with our house.  WE spent yesterday
hanging pictures.  I ended up using a spreadsheet to manage all the
measurements.  I guess I am a bit anal ;-)

Good old Telstra.  I will change my local calls to another carrier once I
get ADSL again but in the meantime I don't want to give them any more
excuses to punish me.  

I feel sorry for the CDMA users.  I recall how heavily it was sold when they
worked out that GSM did not have enough range.  I never bothered but I knew
a few people who had both services.  My observation was that CDMA was still
only marginal in the bush.  And then they just shut it off.  They have a
hide.  

If you feel a need to churn, beware of 3 mobile.  My second son had huge
problems with service level and coverage.  He bought a phone with 3 on a
deal and had all sorts of problems.  He wanted to pay out his contract and
churn but the phone was irreversibly locked to 3.  He had to buy another
handset as well.   I have heard similar complaints from others.  FWIW I have
been with Vodafone for about 10 years and have never been unhappy.

Your wedding ideas sound wonderful I wish you all the very best. I've 
had a great deal with Telstra as well when I changed my mobile from 
CDMA which is closing to what I thought was the getting the new 
Gwhatever system BUT that was only for people on plans I'm on pre 
paid and I can't pick up signals in places I could before and they 
don't really care.

Love them and to add insult to injury they wanted to keep my credit I 
won that one.
Your new house looks WOW! will you have to organize the garden?
