[Mishmash] Get Out of Jail Free Card

It seems to me that if those fools we seem to like sending to Washington are going to give a pass to several million lawbreakers, those of us who are not breaking a law should get the same treatment.

After all, isn't what we're going to do with illegal immigrants nothing more than giving them a lawbreaker's pass . . . "hey, I know you're breaking out laws just by standing here, but what the heck? I'll give you a pass" is the essence of the new bill.

How about each of use gets to do the same thing with the law of our choice . . . I, for example, could get a smokers card that lets me smoke anyplace I want. 

Breaking the law - sure. But that no longer seems to matter.
