Re: Fred's link to a Fox news item regarding the rising price of SMS 
(text) messages.

This item hit the paper some weeks ago.  Of course the news report is 
spot on; the marginal
cost of carrying a text message is just about zip.  It's whatever the 
traffic will bear, as
usual, and if you're of the opinion that free enterprise includes 
permission to do what you
like and charge whatever you can get, you can't complain.  That 
opinion may no longer be as
prevalent as it once was.
