Yes,

    The sad part is that when I came back from dinner tonight, the pipe
came off again and is dragging.

    The good part here may be that the manager at the hotel has a welder
friend who says he can fix it for me tonight.  He's supposed to be here
in about an hour to take care of it for me.

    Keep your fingers crossed.  I don't want to come clattering and
rumbling up to the gate on the new job tomorrow if there is any way I
can help it.
