[Mishmash] Las Cruces Logo

Folks,

    The City of Las Cruces (my new home) has been slammed with lawsuits
for quite some time by two men (one is an atheist and the other is a
Jewish man) that wants the courts to make the city stop using its logo.

    As 'Las Cruces' is Spanish for 'The Crosses', it is appropriate for
this (a heavily Roman Catholic and Protestant community) to have this as
their logo.  The courts keep affirming that and dropping them.

    But they are going to try again.

    It would seem that they should just keep the legal fees they are
incurring and use them to move some place else.
