[Mishmash] Old Movies and UFO's

"The Day the Earth Stood Still" (1951) is one of my all-time favorite movies.  I was 11 years old when my dad took us to see it.  To this day, I remember what Michael Rennie told Patricia Neal to say to the robot if anything happened to him,  "Klaatu, mirada nicto."

To date I have not seen a re-make of any of the old movies that was as good as the original.  For that reason, I seldom bother to watch them.

For those of you with cable or satellite dish here in the U.S., there are a number of UFO documentaries that air regularly on Historyl, Travell, Biography, Sci-Fi, and even National Geographic channels.  Beside being a news junkie, my husband is also a UFO and supernatural junkie.  It keeps him out of trouble and out of my hair!  ; )
