[Mishmash] Old Movies and UFO's

That was a very good one, too.  I love a good mystery, but the ones here in the US are few and far between.

It has gotten so bad, I bought a DVD player that plays Regions 1-6 so we can watch all the British myteries in uncut format.  Our favorite is "Midsomer Murders", but Poirot, Inspecter Morse, Miss Marple, and Ruth Rendell are all very good as well.

Some of the later Hollywood action movies are laughable....all the protagonists going from one action-packed scene to another, with no real plot or intelligent or intelligible diaglog to boot.

I guess I'm getting harder to please in my old age.  ; )

I agree about the remakes.  I hope no one ruins "The Third Man" this way.
