[Mishmash] Two Movies In One Day

You found one of my "stop the world I want to get off" tricks . . . we have
a couple of multi-screen theaters near here that run "spend the afternoon"
deals during the week. 

 

Several times I've dropped out with an afternoon at the movies.

Folks, 

 

    I've done the unthinkable today.  What I had planned for this afternoon
and this evening teetered out.  So I went to see [gasp!] two movies in one
evening.  

 

    First, I sat through 'Blind Side' which was based on the true story of
Michael Oher.  I found myself wanting to cheer all the way through it.  It's
a story that many of us can relate to in one way or another.  After all,
we're Americans and Australians here.  

 

    This is a must see for everyone.  

 

    Next, I sat through the 3D version of A Christmas Carol.  I don't need
to elaborate on the story as I'm sure you are all familar with it.  The
special 3D effects were incredible.  

 

    This also is a must see.  

 

    Check them out.  You won't be disappointed.  Just don't settle for the
2D version of A Christmas Carol.  You'll be shortchanging yourself.
