Folks, 

    One of my favorite Christmas shows is going to be on the Hallmark Channel tonight.  I see that it will be on at 10 PM in the Eastern Zone, 9 PM Central and Mountain, and 10 PM Pacific.  

    It is a take off on Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol'.  Elizabeth Scrooge (Ebbie) is played by Susan Lucci.  She has a female assistant named Roberta Scrooge.  Her dead partner is 'Jake Marley' (played by Jeffrey DeMunn and he really rises to the part).  

    She runs a department store in which she 'sells Christmas, not buys it'.  

    She is haunted by spirits that are spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and the Future.  

    IMHO, she has seriously outdone herself in this role.  I've never seen her in a soap role.  But I suspect she's got to be far better in this than any other thing should could have ever done.  

    Treat yourself and tune in.
