[Mishmash] All news is wrong

I rarely watch news reports.

Everyone I have seen where I have the real facts (like in I was actually
there) is wrong . . . during the St .John's faculty strike they reported
students waiting line to but text books as supporting the strike; when
Franklin National failed the reports had nothing to do with reality ( I was
the spokesperson for the new bank); I was on the train when the LI Railroad
Massacre happened . . .the famous picture of the aftermath is actually a
bunch of people (including me) trying to get warm.

Happened again yesterday. A gas tanker truck crashed on the Long Island
Expressway in the east bound lanes at exit 48 - Round Swamp Road. The NYC
television stations had it:

a) at Swamp Road
b) at exit 45
c) on the westbound side

Even the local station, with a studio that overlooks the accident site, had
it on the wrong side of the exit and was showing a picture of the service
road and calling it the highway.

So, my assumption is that if when I know facts reports are wrong, they are
wrong all the time.

Hugh
